ELECTROTYPES, BRUTTIUM. Kroton. Circa 425-350 BC. Electrotype “AR Nomos” (22mm, 7.70 g, 1h). Derived from an unsigned British Museum electrotype. Youthful Herakles seated left on rock draped with lion skin, holding filleted branch and club, bow and bowcase behind; lighted altar to left; pair of fish in exergue / Tripod; barley grain to left; E in exergue. Head, Guide –; cf. GPCG pl. 14, 18 (for prototype). Toned. As made.
