Hadrian. AD 117-138. AR Denarius (18.5mmmm, 3.14 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 128- circa 129. Laureate head right, draped / Fortuna seated left, holding rudder set on globe and cornucopia. RIC II.3 938 (R3); RSC 724v. Some earthen deposits, flan flaw on reverse. Good VF. When RIC II.3 was published the authors only knew of one example; namely, Meister & Sonntag 8, lot 76. Only that example in CoinArchives. Perhaps the second known with this bust type.
