Bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust left / Demeter standing facing, head left, holding torch and long scepter; at her feet left, lighted altar. BCD Peloponnesos –; BMC –; NCP –; Dura 2168 (only one specimen in the Dura hoard). Rough green patina, minor deposits. Near VF. Extremely rare, the second known and finer than the Dura specimen. |
