IONIA, Miletos. Late 6th-early 5th century BC. Fourrée Obol (10mm, 0.86 g). Forepart of lion right, head reverted / Stellate design within incuse square with one side contoured in the shape of an M. For prototype: cf. SNG Kayhan 1381. Cracks and breaks in plating, exposing core in one area. Good VF.
