WORLD. Malay Archipelago. Lot of one hundred eighty-eight (188) Æ and tin massa issues. All coins: HCM 128-131. Mitchiner originally attributed these coins to the Majapahit Empire but later reattributes them to the Sailendra Empire, and probably struck in Srivijaya, the capital in southern Java. They are likely the earliest coins struck in Indonesia, circa AD 1100-1300. Fine. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS. One hundred eighty-eight (188) coins in lot.
