MIGRATION PERIOD, Pseudo-Imperial coinage. Circa late 3rd century AD. AR (24mm, 6.80 g, 1h). Contemporary imitation. Laureate head of Maximianus(?) left / Laureate head of Maximianus(?) left. Sergeev – but cf. 220-231 (for similar series). Toned, porosity, a couple of edge chips, cleaning scratches. Near VF. Extremely rare and unpublished. This series likely originates with an indeterminate tribe in central eastern Europe.
