MIGRATION PERIOD, Pseudo-Imperial coinage. Circa late 3rd century AD. AR (21.5mm, 2.66 g, 12h). Contemporary imitation. Head left / Uncertain female figure, Securitas(?), seated left on throne, holding transverse scepter. Sergeev – but cf. 220-231 (for similar series); Leu 4 (25 May 2019), lot 827 (for similar in gold); cf. Calicó 4192 (for possible reverse prototype). Toned. VF. Extremely rare and unpublished in silver. This series likely originates with an indeterminate tribe in central eastern Europe.

It is rarer to find coins from this series in silver than in either gold or gilt material.
