Fausta. Augusta, AD 324-326. Æ Follis (18.5mm, 1.42 g). Uncertain mint. Struck under Constantine I. Bareheaded and mantled bust right / [Fausta (as Spes) standing left, holding two children in her arms; [...]]. Dark green-brown patina, reverse obliterated, some cleaning scratches. VF.

An interesting error. The reverse appears to have been at first properly struck. However, currently only BLIC, as in REIPVBLICAE, is all that remains of the reverse design which appears to have been accidentally obliterated by a subsequent off center strike.

Closing Date and Time: 18 June 2025 at 13:51:00 ET.

All winning bids are subject to a 20% buyer’s fee.
