Constantine I. AD 307/310-337. Æ Follis (23.5mm, 4.34 g, 12h). Treveri (Trier) mint. Struck AD 313-315. Laureate and cuirassed bust right / Sol standing left, raising hand and holding globe; T|F//PTR. RIC VII 42. Dark green-brown patina with some toned trace silvering, obverse with a subsequent off center errant strike. VF. A very curious and unusual error that has obliterated about a third of the obverse but leaving only a minor stress crack on the reverse.
