Diva Faustina Senior. Died AD 140/1. Æ Sestertius (32.5mm, 25.83 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck under Antoninus Pius, circa AD 150-late 150s. Draped bust right, wearing pearls bound on top of her head / Faustina the elder seated left, holding scepter, under roof supported by two columns on car drawn left by two elephants, ridden buy mahouts. RIC III 1113 (Pius); Banti 25. Brown surfaces, numerous scratches, cleaning marks, some hard green deposits, edge bruise. Fine.
