EGYPT, Alexandria. Commodus. AD 177-192. Æ Diobol (24mm, 6.80 g, 12h). Dated RY 28 (AD 187/8). Laureate head right / Draped bust of Serapis facing, wearing ornate kalathos; L K H (date) across field. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 3934; K&G 41.105; RPC IV.4 3531.1 (this coin); Emmett 2616.28 (R5). Green and brown patina, some roughness. Near VF. Extremely rare, only two specimens recorded in RPC.
