Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Hadrian, raising his right hand in salute and holding long scepter, seated left on galley sailing left, steersman to right; mast with sail on front deck to left, L I E (date) across upper field. Köln 1032; Dattari (Savio) 1582-3; K&G 32.513; RPC III 5785; Emmett 1127.15. Brown patina. Good VF. A superb example of the type.
