Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Zeus, in the form of an eagle, facing, head left, with spread wings, abducting nude Ganymede, wearing Phrygian cap and holding pedum. Bellinger T187; RPC IV.2 11281; von Fritze, Ilion 77. Green-brown patina, some roughness, flan crack, cleaning marks. Near VF. Very rare.
