Alexandreia mint. Struck circa 306-300 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, wearing elephant skin / Athena Alkidemos advancing right; ΘE monogram to left; to right, Corinthian helmet, ΔI, and eagle standing right on thunderbolt. CPE 73; Svoronos 177; Zervos Issue 33, dies 534/– (unlisted rev. die); SNG Copenhagen –; Boston MFA 2258 (same obv. die). Toned, a couple of minor flan flaws, light scratches and marks, graffiti on reverse. Good VF.
