SCOTLAND. Robert III. 1390-1406. AR Groat (26mm, 2.81 g, 10h). Heavy coinage. Edinburgh mint. Struck 1390-circa 1403. Crowned facing bust within tressure of seven arches with triple pelets at cusps / Long cross pattée; triple pellets in quarters. Burns 4 (fig. 344) var. (obv. legend); SCBI 35 (Ashmolean & Hunterian), 537 (same dies); SCBC 5164. Toned. Good VF.
