MYSIA, Kyzikos. Circa 550-450 BC. EL Myshemihekte – Twenty-fourth Stater (6mm, 0.63 g). Nude male kneeling left, holding a tunny by the tail / Quadripartite incuse square. Von Fritze I 112; cf. Boston MFA 1487–9 (larger denominations); cf. SNG BN 253 (stater); cf. SNG von Aulock 1202 (hekte). Slightly compact flan, a little off center, some marks. Near VF. Extremely rare as a hemihekte, only two in CoinArchives.
