Charles on horseback left, holding sword and reins, trampling pile of arms on ground; plume to right / RELIG · PROT · LEG/ ANG · LIBER · PAR; above, three plumes over ·XX· (mark of value), 1642 below. Morrieson, Shrewsbury D-2; Brooker pl. LXIX note/795 (for obv./rev. dies); North 2362; SCBC 2918. Usual die flaw at 12 o’clock. The fields lightly tooled. Toned. Good VF. Rare.
