Bareheaded bust right, drapery on left shoulder / Cult statue of Zeus Labraundos standing facing, holding double-headed axe in right hand and spear in left, fillets falling to ground from wrists. Akarca 16 var. (bust); Metcalf, Cistophori 39, 186a (O4/R5) = RPC III 1371.1 (this coin); RSC 276a. Cabinet toning, minor marks and scratches, traces of overstrike on an uncertain cistophorus of Augustus(?). Good VF.
