Hadrian. AD 117-138. AR Denarius (17mm, 3.71 g, 6h). “Travel series” issue. Rome mint. Group 10, circa AD 130-133. HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, bare head right / AEGYPTOS, Aegyptos, draped, reclining left, holding up sistrum in right hand and resting left arm on basket; to left, ibis standing right. RIC II.3 1482; RIC II 297; Strack 294; RSC 99; BMCRE 797-8. Lightly toned, some faint hairlines, flan flaw on reverse. Superb EF.
