IMP C M IVL PHILIPPVS P F AVG P M, radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / PAX FVND ATA CVM PERSIS, Pax standing left, holding olive branch and scepter. RIC IV 69; Bland Study 4; RSC 113. Toned, areas of slightly flat strike. Good VF. Struck on a heavy flan.

In his study of Philip I and family Dr. Roger Bland notes that “This obverse adds P M (Persicus Maximus) or the Greatest of Persian conquerors. The reverse again celebrates the Peace with Persia.”
