POTTERY. Magna Graecia. Apulian. 6th-4th Cent. BCE. (45 mm tall x 210 mm wide). A kylix with squat foot and wide bowl. To either side, long handles extend from either side of the cup. On the outside of the body, a vine pattern encircles the kylix. Inside, a vine pattern surrounds a circular solar design of a circle divided into quarters, with divided v-chevrons in each quarter. Patina present. Piece is intact with only a couple very small chips and loss at rim. Paint is quite nice on this piece with very little loss.
