EGYPT, Alexandria. Diocletian. AD 284-305. Potin Tetradrachm (20mm, 7.72 g, 12h). Dated RY 12 (AD 295/6). Laureate and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings displayed, holding wreath in open wings; L IB (date) to left and within wreath. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 10891; K&G –; RPC X Online 76401; Emmett 4040.12 (R4). Brown patina. Good VF. Very rare, superior to any specimen recorded in RPC.
