SELEUKID EMPIRE. Antiochos III ‘the Great’. 222-187 BC. Æ (23.5mm, 10.84 g, 1h). “Rose” mint (Edessa?). Struck circa 213–187. Diademed head right / Artemis standing left, crowning royal name and holding spear; monogram to outer left. SC 1123 var. (obv. type); HGC 9, 472 var. (same). Earthen dark green patina, shallow cut on obverse. VF. Apparently unique.
