NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P IMP P P, laureate bust right, globe at point of bust / DECVRSIO in exergue, S C across field, Nero, bareheaded and cuirassed, and with cloak floating free, prancing right on horseback, holding spear in right hand; to left, behind him, mounted soldier prancing right, holding vexillum over left shouldee. Johnson & Martini –, but cf. 1421. Brown surfaces, rough and porous surfaces. Fine.
