BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kingdom. Hermaios Soter. Circa 105-90 BC. AR Tetradrachm (26.5mm, 8.93 g, 12h). Posthumous issue struck by Indo-Skythians near Kabul, circa 50-35 BC. Diademed and draped bust right / Zeus seated slightly left, raising hand and holding scepter; monogram to left; possible ma in Kharosthi between legs. Senior, Hermaios 34aT.1/2 (unrecorded combination); cf. Bopearachchi 16B, but cf. 16; SNG ANS –; HGC 12, 301. Toned, traces of find patina, deposits, roughness and die rust. .
