POTTERY. Roman. 2nd-3rd Cent. CE. (150 mm tall x 95 mm wide). A ribbed oil pitcher (oinochoe) with a flat-footed body that tapers at both foot and neck. The spout is rather long, but no fold or flare save a very slight waver in the spout is present. The handle attaches from the lip to the shoulder of the body. Body is ribbed for decoration. Intact. |
