Diva Faustina Senior. Died AD 140/1. Æ Sestertius (31.5mm, 26.30 g, 11h). Rome mint. Struck under Antoninus Pius, circa AD 150-late 150s. Draped bust right, wearing pearls bound on top of her head / Aeternitas standing left, holding up phoenix and raising hem of skirt. RIC III 1105 (Pius) var. (globe surmounted by phoenix); Banti 4 (same dies as illustration. Dark green patina, cleaning/smoothing marks, a couple of flan flaws on obverse, traces of earthen deposits. Good VF.
