IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS VI P P, laureate bust with bare chest right, slight drapery / SPQR OPTIMO PRINCIPI, Victory advancing right, holding palm frond and wreath. RIC II 281; Woytek 440d (this coin illustrated); King 61j (this coin); RSC 433 var. (bust type). Dark cabinet tone, scratches under tone, areas of minor roughness, small flan flaw on reverse, flan crack. Good VF. Woytek knew of five examples with this bust type, including this coin.
