Umayyad Caliphate, Bronze coinage. Æ Fals (14.5mm, 1.66 g, 8h). Struck in the name of Asad b. ‘Abdallah. Al-Mubaraka mint. Undated. Lion to right within square frame, governor’s name around / Elephant to right within square frame, duriba - bi-’l-Mubaraka - sittin - bi-dirham (’Struck in al-Mubaraka, sixty to the dirham’) around. Cf. Album B204 (a similar coin from Marw). VF. The lion on the obverse of this type refers to the name of the governor, Asad.
