IMP C C VAL DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG, laureate head right / GENIO AVGG ET CAESARVM N N, Genius standing left, holding patera and cornucopia; SMN. Cf. RIC VI 27a (rev. legend). Brown patina, red deposits, silvering, minor porosity, scratches. VF. Extremely rare and apparently unpublished with this reverse legend from Nicomedia, otherwise only known for Cyzicus. |
