Draped bust of Artemis right, hair drawn together and tied in the back, wearing stephanos, single-pendant earring, and necklace, bow and quiver over shoulder / Cult statue of Artemis of Ephesos facing, arms outstretched horizontally at sides, fillet hanging from each; E-Φ flanking its head; tripod to outer left; to outer right, stag standing left. Head p. 69, 3 var. (B, not stag to right); otherwise unpublished. Minor marks, scrapes on obverse and edge. Good VF. Struck on a broad flan. Extremely rare, none in CoinArchives with these symbols. |
