Persian king or hero, wearing kidaris and kandys, quiver over shoulder, in kneeling-running stance right, holding spear in right hand, bow in left; ΛY and O to left, M to right / Patterned incuse punch. Unpublished issue, but has controls of Nicolet-Pierre 1, with additional symbol in left field, which transitioned into Nicoloet-Pierre 3 (see next lot). Underlying luster. Near EF. Extremely rare, none in CoinArchives. |
