Youthful hero Thessalos, his petasos and chlamys hanging around neck, restraining bull left by band held around its head / Bridled horse prancing left; all within incuse circle. Lorber, Thessalian 60 var. (rev. type right); BCD Thessaly II 176; HGC 4, 421. Lightly toned, some die wear, a few flan flaws on obverse. Good VF. |
