Veiled and wreathe head of Demeter left / Apollo seated left on omphalos, elbow resting on top of large kithara to left, holding long laurel branch that rests on his shoulder; tripod to left. Head, Guide, Period III.B., 25; cf. GPCG pl. 23, 30 = BM no. 1859,1219.15 (for prototype). Toned. As made.
