Iron two-faced blade. European. Iron Age. c. 5th–2nd centuries BCE. (Blade: 33 cm. With Handle: 54 cm. long) A short, two-faced blade with a tapered neck in iron. Tip is bent; tang extends into the handle. Very squat guard. The handle is utilitarian, with a bulbous bit at the upper third of the sword to fit the user’s hand. No pommel is present on the piece. Balanced for single hand use. End is hollow for possible use on the end of a pike. Iron deposits. Website shipping rates do not apply.
