Steatite scarab with two uraei and pharaoh’s name in heiroglyphs. Lower Egypt. New Kingdoms Period. Tuthmose III. 18th Dynasty. 1479-1425. (16 mm) A scarab with a central bidirectional piercing for suspension. The back is engraved with features of the scarab including legs. On the face, the cartouche menkheperre (Tuthmose III) and two uraei in lower section. Slight chipping at edges. |
