Bronze Roman military standard decoration. Roman. 1st-3rd centuries CE. (11.5 x 7 cm) A large, heavy finial for a Roman military standard in the form of a closed fist. There’s a piercing at the base of the wrist for mounting, the lip of the opening is flared. There is a bit of damage on the lip and lower wrist, near the piercing on the side with fingers closed. Green patina, deposits. Website shipping rates do not apply.
