PHOENICIA, Berytus. Hadrian. AD 117-138. Æ (24mm, 11.55 g, 12h). Struck AD 128-138. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front / Two legionary aquilae within laurel wreath. Cf. Sawaya 1087/1091 (D209/R422; [unrecorded die combination]); RPC III 3856; Rouvier 532; BMC 93-97. Brown patina with earthen highlights, worn to bare metal at high points. Near VF.
