Andronicus II Palaeologus, with Michael IX. 1282-1328. EL Hyperpyron (22.5mm, 4.02 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Struck 1294-1303. Half-length facing figure of the Theotokos, orans, within city walls with six towers; sigla: obscured / Christ standing facing, crowning Andronicus and Michael, kneeling to left and right respectively.
