IONIA, Ephesos. Circa 390-325 BC. AR Tetradrachm (23.5mm, 14.85 g, 12h). Aratos, magistrate. Class A, circa 390-380 BC. Bee with straight wings; E-Φ flanking head / Forepart of stag right, head left; palm tree to left, APATOΣ to right. Karwiese II, Series 11.1, – (unlisted magistrate, but obv. die O2); otherwise, unpublished. Lightly toned, porous, a few scratches and minor die wear on obverse. VF. Apparently unique.
