LANCASTER. Henry IV. 1399-1413. AR Penny (17mm, 1.00 g, 1h). Light coinage. London (Tower) mint. Struck 1412-1413. Crowned facing bust / Long cross pattée; triple pellets in quarters, annulet before LON. Potter II-2 (Henry IV)/I-1 (Henry V) and pl. X, 16 (this coin illustrated); North 1363/1362; SCBC 1732. Some light ghosting and a few minor marks on reverse. Otherwise richly toned. Good VF. An extremely rare penny with an excellent pedigree.
