Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / ΘЄA ΦΑVCTINA, diademed, veiled, and draped bust of Faustina Senior right; L Є (date) before. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 2098 = RPC IV.4 379.2 = Figari & Mosconi 454 (this coin); K&G 35.109 var. (obv. bust type and reverse legend arrangement); Emmett 1391.5. Minor porosity and deposits. Near VF. Rare variety with Faustina’s bust draped and veiled, only two recorded in RPC including this coin.
