Laureate head right / Commodus on a galloping horse right, thrusting a spear toward a lion, which is advancing left below; L K Γ (date) across field. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 9558 var. (obv. bust type); K&G –; RPC IV.4 3402.1 (this coin); Emmett 2535.23 (R5). Dark brown surfaces. Good VF. Extremely rare, presently unique. RPC plate coin.
