Facing mask of Medusa with disheveled hair, coiled serpents at either side of face / Aurora flying right, holding palm frond and conducting four horses of the sun. Crawford 453/1b; CRI 29; Sydenham 959a; Plautia 15a; RBW 1584. Attractive deep and iridescent toning, slightly off center, tiny edge split. Good VF.
