Helmeted head of Athena Parthenos right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates’ names across field; to right, Dionysos standing left, holding mask and scepter; Λ on amphora; all within wreath. Thompson 837 (same dies); HGC 4, 1635. Toned, much find patina remaining, some roughness. Near VF. Rare issue for drachms. |
