Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Dionysos standing left, leaning on column, holding kantharos over panther at foot left. Kurth 25 corr. (obv. described as bare headed, not cuirassed); RPC IV.2 Online 1171; Imhoof LS 11; Lindgren & Kovaks 710 corr. (rev. described as Apollo; this coin). In NGC encapsulation 4884175-005, graded VF (Star). Extremely rare, only two known to RPC, and much nicer than the one shown in RPC. Only one specimen found at CoinArchives, this coin. |
