Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; wreath to outer left, monogram in exergue. Meadows, Earliest 25 var. (monogram; obv. die O15); Thompson 162–3 var. (same); Müller –; HGC 3, 1750h; Triton XII, lot 148 (same dies); Nomos Obolos 19, lot 138 (same dies). Lightly toned, slight die shift, areas of roughness. VF. Fine style.
