THRACE, Pautalia. Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. Æ Tetrassarion (30.5mm, 23.50 g, 6h). C. Aelius Oneratus, hegemon. Laureate and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing right on thunderbolt, head left with wreath in beak, wings displayed. Tachev Pautalia 3 (O:1/R:3); cf. Ruzicka 261; Varbanov 4650 (same dies). Brown patina, scrapes on obverse. Near VF. Extremely rare, only one specimen known to Tachev, the second known.
