Laureate and cuirassed bust right, aegis on breastplate / Caracalla standing right, holding scroll and phiale; before him, victimarius about to strike a bull with a hammer or axe; in background, Asklepios seated left, holding serpent and sceptre, within tetrastyle temple. SNG France 2247 (same dies); Price and Trell 464, fig. 439 (same reverse die; temple identified as that of Caracalla as Dionysus Kathegemon). Fine, brown surfaces, a little rough.
