WORLD. Baltic Hoard - Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. A date set of AR Polgrosz. Includes: Lithuanian horseman / Polish eagle. Dates ranging from 1509 to 1566. Some duplication, some varieties // This lot also contains a number of issues of the earlier Polish kings, and Germanic entities such as Aachen, Cologne, Julich-Cleve-Berg, Prussia, Schweidnitz, Teutonic Knights, Thorn and other cities and states. Plus fifteen Turkish Akçes (580). Many of these pieces heavily worn, corroded or holed, obviously having seen wide circulation before being deposited in the hoard. Average Fair to Fine condition, with noted problems. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS. 723 coins in lot.
